It takes great companies working with great partners to create value in the adhesives industry. And, as the world around us changes, it takes an innovative approach to win market share and add value to a final product. Our customers are constantly changing their products to meet consumer demands, particularly in the hygiene industry. We add value by helping our customers change and innovate, which enables them to reduce waste in the production process, improve product absorption rates, manufacture thinner core applications and offer greater fit and comfort to consumers.
It is this level of innovation that recently earned H.B. Fuller recognition from EDANA, the leading global association and voice of the nonwovens and related industries. Winning the inaugural OUTLOOK™ Asia Award for our adhesive, CHM-1088ZP, recognizes how we tailor product and process innovations to meet customers’ critical needs for high-performance diapers in the Asia Pacific region. Developed at our Hygiene Technical Centre in China, it offers a high-performance application that contributes to diaper core integrity and performance.
The global drive to create thinner cores for diaper products is now evident across Asia Pacific. It is the fastest growing region for disposable hygiene products, such as baby diapers, training pants, feminine protection and adult incontinence. This trend will likely continue, with innovation being accelerated through the effective collaboration of manufacturers and suppliers to develop optimal solutions. And now is the perfect time to point the spotlight back on the industry, and give companies, like H.B. Fuller, the opportunity to highlight the products or services we have developed to meet the unique, but broad markets of Asia Pacific and Indian subcontinent.
We are delighted to be recognized by EDANA and the conference delegates, who represented key hygiene industry leaders in Asia. By working together to discover, develop and deliver innovative solutions, we are helping to answer and solve some of the hygiene industry’s biggest challenges.
